CB1 psychotherapy is a mental health center that treats a wide range of clients from different backgrounds and communities to reach a place in life which is more comfortable for them.
We are an integrative mental health centre which has core foundations in Existential psychotherapy and trauma based recovery therapy. We are looking for newly qualified psychotherapists and Trainee psychotherapists to build our new centre
The role is based in central Cambridge and is a freelance, self employed position for a minimum term of a year.
The pay is £22 + per hour depending on experience.
We can offer from 5 hours a week to 30 hours a week depending on experience and capacity.
Job Overview
We are seeking skilled Psychotherapists who have qualified in the last 12 months and people in training to be psychotherapists to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide professional mental health services to clients, offering support and guidance to help them navigate through challenging times.
Supervision for all client hours will be provided and facilitated peer professional and personal development groups with readings will run monthly to aid in professional and person development.
Although we are primarily an Existential psychotherapy and DBR centre. We are happy to meet with people who are trained in or studying different modalities as we look to build a stand out centre in Cambridge which can offer different support in different modalities to our clients.
We don’t only want to offer paid positions in the mental health field. It is also very important to us to foster and facilitate deep development and understanding of oneself and what you are doing as a therapist to elevate yourself and the industry as a whole.
Duties
Running your own diary and scheduling clients directly
Conduct therapy sessions to address emotional, psychological, and behavioral issues
Communicate effectively with clients to establish trust and rapport
Engaging with your supervisors and clinic leads
Being a engaged member of the peer group
Utilise IT systems for record-keeping and analysis
Skills
Proficient in creating and implementing psychotherapy
Excellent communication skills to engage with clients effectively
Ability to utilise IT systems for documentation and analysis
